Day Three
Day one and Day two
Meet at Luton late evening for a midnight flight to Bacau, arriving early Saturday in Romania. Transfer to Petru Voda monastery where we stay for 2 nights. Rest, eat and chance to participate in vespers and the life of the monastery. Liturgy at Petru Voda, followed by a walk through the beautiful mountain area guided by local monastics.

Travel to Gura Humorului, where we will spend the night in a hotel, visiting the Humor and Voronet monasteries along the way - home to some of the most beautiful frescos
Day Four
Visit Moldovita and Suceavita monasteries and Marginea pottery workshop, before heading to stay overnight at Putna monastery.
Day Four
Day Five
Morning Liturgy at Putna (optional), visit to the monastery museum and a walk up to the skete and the cave of Daniel the Hermit. Head towards Suceava, where we stay the night in a hotel in the town.

Free time to visit the town of Suceava, its monastery, museums, shops and citadel either on your own or as a group
Day Seven
Visit to Dragomirna monastery, lunch and potential for souvenir shopping before heading to Bacau airport for a 10pm flight (arriving midnight UK time).
